Rose Tinted Summer (She smiled as she saw how far she had come)

Rose Tinted Summer (She smiled as she saw how far she had come) is a serene painting inspired by the light, colour and feeling of long, golden summer days by the coast.

There’s a lovely sense of space and freedom in the abstracted open fields, drawing the eye towards the sea and the horizon beyond. Rich layers of paint create a feeling of depth, with glimpses of colour and hidden details adding interest as the eye moves across the painting.
