Artwork connecting you to the Purbeck coast, Dorset.

From my coastal studios on the Purbeck coast, Dorset I create uplifting semi abstract seascape and landscape art inspired by the coastal colours, light and sense of space of the ever - changing stunning landscape of my home village of Lulworth Cove and the surrounding area such as Durdle Door, Mupe Bay and the beaches at Studland.

You will discover a selection of artwork that will add a little coastal tranquillity to your home and will soothe your senses, whilst other statement pieces are more vibrant and are full of energy and will add a dramatic pop of gorgeous ocean colour or earthy tones to a room, giving you connection to the coast.

Come and explore your creativity through painting, glass and mixed-media workshop in my teaching space / studio at Furzebrook Studios, Wareham. My workshops are relaxed, experimental and welcoming, giving you the freedom to play with materials, explore new ideas and enjoy the creative process — whatever your experience or confidence level.

Join me for a beautiful retreat by the sea, bringing together creativity, rest and coastal experiences in the heart of Lulworth Cove, the Dorset coastal village I’ve called home for over 10 years.

We’ll spend a long weekend painting by the sea, exploring my favourite hidden corners of the coast, sunrise swimming, walking to Durdle Door, enjoying beach sauna, meditation and stargazing — with gorgeous sea-view accommodation, delicious local food and plenty of time to simply slow down.

I’ll guide you through experimental art workshops, both out in the landscape and in my home studio, sharing my creative approach and encouraging you to experiment, play and find your own way of capturing the essence of the coast.

With a small group of just 7 women, it’s a chance to immerse yourself in creativity, nature and good company in one of Dorset’s most inspiring coastal settings.

No previous art experience needed — just come ready to create, explore and enjoy.

I offer supportive and inspiring group and 1-1 mentoring sessions for artists and makers. Together, we take time to pause, reflect, and plan to gain clarity, reconnect with your creative vision, and intentionally create an artistic practice that feels fulfilling, and joyful. We will create purposeful plans to move forward with confidence and authenticity.

I trained at Edinburgh College Of Art and have worked professionally and taught art for over 25 years. I have lived with my 3 children near Lulworth Cove for over 20 years and can often be found near, on or in the sea.... swimming, sauna-ing, dog walking, paddle boarding, yoga-ing, sunset watching, mediating, moon bathing, star gazing and of course painting.
