‘Feeling The Sunlight After the Storm’ is an uplifting artwork comprising of 25 mini artworks that capture the essence of parting clouds after a coastal storm. Each artwork has layers of glass which have been fused together encasing the painted surface and delicate suns and flecks of 22.65 Karat gold foil. After fusing in the kiln, the artwork is screen – printed with soaring seagulls, adding to the beautiful sense of movement. 

This artwork is inspired by the feeling of gratitude for the calming sunshine and warmth after a coastal storm and how that mirrors feelings of hope and peace after a turbulent time in life.
