' Coastpath' set of 3 fused glass framed wall art - Lulworth Cove, Dorset

This set of three fused glass artworks capture the peaceful magic of Lulworth Cove on the Dorset coast, where Wendy has her home studio. 

This coastal artwork is created by cutting and fusing layers of beautiful glass sheets together with a sprinkle of pretty glass granules. A light dusting of iridescent glass powder is added which sparkles when it catches the light. Once fired in the kiln, the striking coastal grass design is hand screen printed onto the glass before it is re - fired. The colours of the glass will beautifully change with the changing light throughout the day. The glass is then hand finished, signed, and framed in a box frame.

Wendy’s home and glass studio is in the stunning coastal village of West Lulworth, Dorset. She adores the beaches and walks around Lulworth Cove, Oswald’s Bay, Durdle Door and Mupe Bay. 

Wendy has been working in fused glass for over 20 years since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2000 and receiving funding from The Crafts Council to set up her studio.
